About Us

 The Shady Gays met the old fashioned way — in a cruisy bar on Bourbon  Street on Halloween. True to form, neither lived in New Orleans, and  both were on vacation. Years later, they are still together and still  traveling. Their travel interests include culture, high art, low comedy,  fashion, history, drag, gay life in other cities, and appreciation for  the quirky aspects of their destinations. They would rather walk through  a city in the snow and rain than take a bus tour. They understand that  sometimes the seedier side of a city is not the best of what it has to  offer, but still worth seeing anyways. The Shady Gays live in the San  Francisco Bay Area and are based in Northern California and Paris.
